Those of you who know me know that I am not a religious person. I would, however, call myself spiritual. I definitely believe in something…Back at home in the US, I didn’t do much to explore it and just sort of settled into the idea that I was Agnostic. Traveling to Southeast Asia and doing all of these tours and meeting so many interesting locals and learning about their beliefs, values, rituals, and customs has definitely opened my eyes to a whole different approach to this topic. I feel like a disclaimer is important here….All of my opinions expressed here and henceforth, are just that – my personal opinions. I respect every individual’s choice to choose their own path, and would never try to force my beliefs onto anyone else. This is just an exploration into my own spirituality that I hope you will find interesting and will perhaps even inspire you to do some of your own soul-searching. Again, much more to come here, but this topic has been one of my favorites since I have been on this journey, and the most surprising for me personally.
