Barre combines ballet, Pilates, and yoga for a low-impact workout focused on strength and toning.
Barre
Barre is like the yin to my yoga yang. And what I mean here is that I can’t have one without the other. I need both to balance me out. And as we all know, balance is so important! Barre refines, sculpts, and shapes my muscles, while yoga stretches and lengthens them out. Barre energizes me, while yoga calms my mind. Both of them have amazing health benefits, but when you put them together, you have a supersonic team working together to heal your mind, body, and soul.
Barre is a workout method inspired by ballet, incorporating elements of dance, pilates, yoga, and functional training. It focuses on low-impact, high-intensity movements designed to strengthen your body in ways that few other workouts can. Using a combination of your own weight resistance in combination with light weights and a few other props, this workout will tone and strengthen your muscles while simultaneously challenging your mental toughness. With consistent practice, you will become stronger both inside and out.
I have been practicing Barre for 17 years and became a certified Barre instructor 4 years ago. Barre is much newer on the physical fitness scene than yoga, and for this reason, I am so excited to share some FREE online classes and encourage you to book some private online classes with me so I can cheer you along and give you that extra push you may need to keep moving in a positive direction towards a healthier and happier way of life.
